FrancisM, Kiko, The Man from Manila, or the Master Rapper as what people know him, died at age 44 last midnoon of March 6, 2009 after being diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia for seven months. A rapper, songwriter, producer, actor, breakdancer, director, and photographer, he was considered a legend in the Philippine Entertainment Industry particularly in music. He is highly respected in the rap scene, pioneered the merging of rap with pinoy rock and was a great influence to all other Filipino artists in that genre as well. FM's death is really a big loss to the industry. The Philippine government just announced that FM will be posthumuosly awarded the National Medal of Merit, for his contributions in promoting patriotism through music and even to his clothing line as well. should be.
